Mission
A few quick reminders..

-
Bring at least 7-8 outfit choices with you (more than that is definitely ok! We will shoot 5-6 looks. It is awesome to have options!
-
Try to choose a variety of outfits (not all bra and panty sets). and not all black! try to bring something light, something dark, and at least one pop of color.
-
jewel tones, pastels, and earth tones are best. Gold and Silver always work too. Just avoid neon and busy patterns.
-
Bring at least one killer bra (with good support) and panty set.
Say Yes to Bodysuits!
-
Bodysuits look great in photos, and are flattering on every body type!
-
If you are larger on top, look for styles that have underwire and/or structured cups to give support.
-
AVOID "babydoll lingerie" or anything with an empire waist, as this will often look like maternity wear on most clients. These just hide your shape and are not very flattering.
-
If you are self-conscious about your middle, bodysuits are your friend! Shapewear is also PERFECt. Fitted things will actually be more flattering. We want to show your curves!
Things to Remember
-
Bring accessories! Jewelry always adds a pop of sparkle and looks great in photos.
-
Please arrive with your lingerie on hangers. THis keeps things from getting wrinkles (I do not photoshop wrinkles out clothing) and makes it easier for us to look though your options and style your shoot.
-
If you're doing a bridal shoot, bring bridal lingerie, garter, veil, jewelry, etc. if you would like, you can bring your dress for a couple shots as well.
-
Does your significant other like a sports team? Bring their jersey. Other ideas are work shirts, button down shirts, favorite band t-shirt, etc.
Things to Avoid

-
SHOES WITH ANKLE STRAPS OR BOoT STYLE heels. They will make your legs look shorter.
-
Baby-doll style lingerie dresses. These are not flattering!
-
You will see the bottom of your heels in some pictures, so if they are old/worn, you will be able to tell. I do not photoshop the bottom of shoes.
-
SPRAY TANNING. Everyone loves a tan- Everyone except the camera. Spray tans tend to look very orange on camera, and any unevenness will be exaggerated in pictures. Please don’t spray tan or self tan before your shoot!
-
TAN LINES. I will photoshop out temporary things like blemishes and bruises. I don'’t routinely photoshop out tan lines. This is very time consuming and will come at an additional fee per image. It'’s best to avoid getting tan lines before your session.
Good Examples of Bodysuits
When shopping for corsets, choose styles that have a sweetheart neckline. Corsets that are straight across in the front can flatten your girls instead of flattering them!
Shapewear is often overlooked, but it is a GREAT option! It is SUPER flattering and looks incredible in images!
I recommend bringing at least one pair of heels. NUDE and BLACK are perfect, and metallic tones also work great. The higher/skinnier the heel, the better. The right heel can actually lengthen and slim your legs! Here are some examples:

-Avoid ankle boots or bootie style heels that cover most of your foot. These will visually cut off the line of The leg and make your legs look shorter.

Heels with a single ankle strap can have the same effect, but they can also look really cool too. so, if you have a great pair, feel free to bring them, as long as you also bring good pair of classic heels as well.
example:
avoid:
"babydoll" style lingerie outfits! There is a tendency to feel like being more covered up, or wearing something loose will be more flattering if you're plus size, or self conscious about your middle at all, but the opposite is true! Loose flowy things actually add bulk and create a round shape instead of accentuating your curves. Plus, they tend to look a bit dated. You are much better off with a well fitted body suit!

Please avoid anything crotchless for, well. obvious reasons... just be sure to double check as you're shopping, because it's easy to overlook!
above all else, make sure your pieces fit properly!!!
I can't stress this enough! please try everything on that you would like to wear, and make sure it fits! and by that I mean it fits everywhere! if the bottom fits, but the top is loose, baggy, or just doesn't lay right, it won't work! avoid anything that is too big or loose - its better to be a little on the tight side than baggy.

properly fitting lingerie will lay flat to your body and not gap, bunch or pucker anywhere. bringing in Ill- fitting things will not only take time away from your shoot, but it will ultimately affect the quality of your images.
it is super important that you feel comfortable in everything that you bring. if you don't feel comfortable being in a well lit room in it, you won't want to be photographed in it. Also, we get a variety of shots in every outfit, so each piece will be photographed from every angle. Please don't bring something and say you "only like the back"...
Let me know if you have any questions about what to bring!
I can't wait to work with you!
